India's renowned vehicle manufacturer Bajaj has introduced the Platina in a new avatar. The company has introduced the 100ES (electric start) disc variant of Platina. The price of which has been fixed at Rs 60,698. For your information, let us tell you that the drum brake variant of Platina 100 ES is already available in the market at a price of Rs 58,477 and its kick-start alloy variant at Rs 50,464.

A 240 mm disc is available in the front of the new bike, while the rear tires have provided 110 mm drum brakes with anti-skid braking system. Bajaj first started Electric Start in Platina in 2015. At the same time, this motorcycle was introduced according to the new BS6 emission norms. Currently, the Platina is one of the highest mileage motorcycles in the country. The company claims that this bike offers a mileage of more than 90 km. But the actual mileage is between 70 to 80 kmpl.

The Bajaj Platina 100 ES is considered a particularly relaxing ride. Its look includes a black and red color option with a sleek headlamp design and LED DRL. Talking about the engine option, it gets a 102 cc 4-stroke DTS-i, single cylinder engine that generates 7.9 PS of power at 7500 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. This engine is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox. At the same time, this bike has a speed of 90 km per hour. Let's say, the Platina was first launched in 2006. It has remained a popular commuter motorcycle for years. Platina has consistently made its place in the top ten list of bestselling motorcycles in the country. Currently it is the second best selling vehicle of Bajaj after the Pulsar range.
